All You Took from Me is a psychological suspense novel set in the NSW Blue Mountains. Clare Carpenter, an anaesthetist, loses her husband and her memory in a car accident. The police are suspicious about the crash, but she’s more concerned about a strange man who’s following her. She has no idea who he is or what he thinks she owes him. As the stranger closes in and her life is threatened, she is forced to take matters into her own hands to learn the uncomfortable truth about her secretive husband, his connection to a mysterious Medieval Fight Club, and what she did to trigger the man’s crusade for vengeance. This manuscript was longlisted for the 2020 Richell Prize and was runner-up in the 2022 CYA competition. It is currently on submission to publishers.
East Coast Low is a psychological thriller set in a picturesque Australian seaside town. On the verge of losing her beachfront home to coastal erosion, Meg McMahon, a lonely stay-at-home mum, decides to fight for a seawall with the help of a high-flying lawyer who gate-crashes her school reunion. But when she discovers her new friend is a fraud on a mission of revenge, Meg must confront past mistakes and an uncertain future in order to save what matters most: her family. This manuscript is currently undergoing editing. An excerpt was longlisted for the 2021 Fresh Ink Emerging Writers Prize and the manuscript was also Highly Commended in the 2022 Writing NSW Varuna Fellowships. She has been awarded a Katharine Susannah Prichard Writers’ Centre fellowship for 2023 to further develop this work.
