Grieve Volume 10: My poem ‘To the Woman Playing Candy Crush in the ICU Waiting Room’ was published in the tenth anniversary Grieve print anthology following the 2022 Grieve writing competition run by the Hunter Writers Centre. The anthology can be purchased via Booktopia, Amazon and Book Depository.

Writing NSW: My review of The Keepers by Al Campbell made the shortlist of the Writing NSW review competition and was published on their website in February 2022.

Island Magazine Online: ‘How to Be a Better Mother’ is a work of creative non-fiction, published online in the wonderful Island Magazine in November 2021. This piece is highly personal and shared with my son’s blessing.

Meanjin Quarterly: My pandemic-inspired microfiction was a winner in the #Meanjin280 Twitter competition and was published online in September 2020.

Funny Pearls UK: ‘Connecting the Dots’ is a satirical story about Zoom meetings and office politics, 2020 style. It was published in this dynamic online journal, dedicated to promoting humour writing by women, in August 2020.

Root, Branch, Tree: National Flash Fiction Day Anthology 2020: It was a huge honour to appear in this outstanding anthology. You can watch a video of me reading ‘Fault Lines’ on YouTube below or purchase the print anthology or e-book version to read the entire collection.

FlashFlood Journal: ‘Gold-Leaf Messages of Peace and Good Fortune’ was published in FlashFlood Journal in June 2020 on National Flash Fiction Day in the UK.

Microflix Festival 2020: My microfiction piece ‘Burgers n Babes’ was selected for consideration in the 2020 Microflix Festival. Run by Spineless Wonders, this unique annual competition celebrates ultra-short literature and film.

The Sunlight Press: My tropical micro ‘Waikiki in Pieces’ was published in this sumptuous online journal in February 2020.

X-R-A-Y Literary Magazine: ‘The Heft of It’ was published in X-R-A-Y Literary Magazine in October 2019.

The Cabinet of Heed: ‘Grounded’ appeared in Issue Twenty-Five of the Cabinet of Heed, October 2019.

Meniscus Literary Journal:
My short story ‘Bird in the Hand’ appeared in Meniscus Literary Journal, Vol 6, Issue 2, 2018. This international literary journal is free to read online and features the work of established and emerging writers.

Queensland Writers’ Centre 8-Word Story Competition: My micro-fiction was selected by Queensland Writers’ Centre from over ten-thousand entries in November 2017. It was displayed on billboards across South-Eastern Queensland during their 8-Word Story Competition.
